Do try and keep up.
You're so far behind, I don't know that you are capable of adding anything to this thread. Go post in the Leeland McElroy thread I started. Or go make another thread telling us what Texas is doing. Those are always so entertaining.
While you are debating which of those things to do, I leave this without comment:

it matters because you just compared two 25 year stretches to each other under completely different scheduling formats. thats why it matters.
So what? The post was referencing an argument that stated Florida's 25 year run was unstoppable (false) and that it would never end. I used Tennessee, who also happens to be Bama's current common opponent, as an example of how flawed that logic is.
To say Florida will never be down again is, frankly, retarded.

Like dropping Florida from LSU's schedule?

Translation: I got nothin so I'm gonna go with condescension and dismissal.
Solid Lebowski reference, though.

You don't need a translation. Your argument is so bad on this thread, I am openly deriding you. I have nothing but contempt for what you are trying to declare. It is so wrong as has been pointed out time and again, so devoid of context, and so colorblind to those criticisms, that is does not need to be dignified with further refutation. It needs only be met with condemnation. If I ever start telling the story about Bevo wrong, feel free to jump in and correct me.

florida may be down one day and UT up. i cant predict the future so i will not argue that. however in the 2 year bridge schedule it is an absolute fact that they did not balance the schedule. even if you keep the permanent opponents in tact you cannot explain why UGA isnt playing bama and lsu playing UK instead of the other way around.
Keep in mind UGA was up next on bama's schedule before they claimed they have to "bridge the schedule". then after year one they had to bridge a second year. and instead of putting UGA back on bama's schedule in year 2 of the bridge they somehow got put on LSU's.
That is a fact and cannot be explained. You can try or try and divert attention by calling LSU fans pussies like so many have. But those are the facts, and they are indisputable.

Meh, Bama played the best team in the East last year in their back yard. Beat them too.
Because y'all played shitty teams to get there.

you are right. you actually compared 3 separate scheduling formats between each 25 year period. makes it even worse.
Again i ask, why does this matter in context?
LSU fans are operating under the assertion that it's unfair to give them Florida and Bama Tennessee every year. I'm simply pointing out how short-sighted and illogical that is. One day, Florida will be down, Tennessee will be up and LSU fans will have to find a different outlet for their misplaced jealousy and rage towards the Tide.

Bama just played the Gators in 2010 and 2011. It just so happened Florida was a dumpster fire those two years. Thems the breaks.

Looks like you fellas had three losses in a year when you played the gators and finished fourth in the west. Must be bad luck.

And yet YOU have yet to point out one single reason why.
You're like the evangelist who has never actually read the bible and simply dismisses those who question him. You simply lack to knowledge to defend your position.

Says the guy that doesn't know anything about the last 25 years of the SEC and has already admitted he doesn't know anything about it.

it doesnt matter as much in context as it does in the records you tried to compare.
and yes UF may be down some in the future but they will always be up more than UT. That's like stating UK will be down too one day and LSU will be up when talking about bball.
Is it possible for it to happen in a year or in a couple of year stretch? Of course. Has it shown that over time that usually wont be the case? Yes.

Just so everyone is clear if they did decide to go back to the rotation after the bridge, the we would be finishing our home and home with Vanderbilt

the permanent opponent isnt even that big a deal to me though. i love how you keep harping on that and have absolutely nothing to say on the bridge schedule evidence ive posted. pretty telling.

You're looking at things in a vacuum, as if realignment had no effects on any schedule but those you see effecting this discussion. It threw the entire schedue into chaos.
It would have been impossible to keep Georgia on Bama's schedule while also maintaining the no more than one constant inter-dvisional game per teams from 2012 AND giving each team 4 home and 4 road conference games. One team would have either had to keep BOTH of the same inter-divisional teams, one team would have had to take a 3/5 split of games or two teams would have had to have BOTH new opponents from the other division.
