Am I the only person who can’t stand Eduardo Perez calling CWS games?

He’s absolutely terrible. I think Kyle Peterson can’t stand working with him. Too bad Ben McDonald can’t call more games at the CWS.

True story.
Met him at CWS last year. Told him I tried to get an ESPN shirt off of one of their camera guys but he wouldn't sell it to me. Perez followed me into the elevator and says follow me. His wife and he were in the suite next to us. He gave me one of those Adidas shirts you see them wearing. Told me not to wear it there.
Very good guy. Nice as they come.

Ben probably makes the decision himself. Likes coaching his son’s team and he is truly at the point in his life where he does what the hell he wants. Can’t hate that.

I just don't like the fact that guys like Karl Ravech and Eduardo Perez have called no college baseball all year and then parachute in to call the CWS.
Tom Hart with some combo of Kyle Peterson, Ben McDonald and Chris Burke are more than capable.
