Tell me something, Tuscaloosa.

Let’s reverse this roll. Let’s say Bama beat us Saturday. Bama is 12-0 heading into the SECCG. LSU is 11-1 at the end of season.

In the SECCG you get beat by Georgia. Let’s say the committee then decides to put LSU ang Georgia in the playoffs but leaves Bama out.

Or let’s say you beat Georgia but Tua gets severely injured and can’t play in the playoffs so Bama loses badly in the first round to LSU because they let us in even with the loss to y’all.

How would you feel then? Would you think it was “fair” that you had to play that extra game? Would you just accept it and move on or would you be in here making excuses like you are now?

The point is, we should eliminate rewarding teams for losing regardless of which team that is. I get it. You want your team in the playoffs. We all want our team in the playoffs, but for one second here, put yourself in the shoes of an Oregon or Oklahoma fan. How would you feel if your team that has a better resume (even with 1 loss, due to top 25 wins and a conference championship) was left out to a team with 1 top 25 win (Auburn. because that’s your only shot at one now) and a loss at home?

Think about it for a moment, Tuscaloosa. Don’t just post an answer with homerrism written all in it.
