And now all of a sudden the dude was on one leg by his own words. Saban said it himself. The man was cleared to play and played a hell of a game and showed a lot of heart. I get all that. But it was kind of a bitch move for Tua to claim the one leg bs. Lost a lot of respect for him on that.

You can’t blame them for playing politics with that to maximize their chance of getting in the CFP.

I get it but if you are gonna play politics then criticism for such a shameful argument is also warranted. Can't have it both ways. They rushed him back to the field and justified it before... Now they want to act like that didn't happen.

So Tua is accountable for what Bama fans say on a message board?

Tua posted that he played the game on one leg Saturday night. His coach said the opposite. What does that mean?

I don't recall many if any Bama fans claiming he was 100%. To suggest we "flooded the board" with that notion is total nonsense. Disingenuous at best.

It's like they completely ignore the fact that their defense got torched all night. Bama was not going win that track meet.

Why would you lose respect for Tua based on speculation from the fans?

No, absolutely not. However, Nick Saban in his press conference after the game said Tua was 100%, then he stopped and downward estimated it to 90%. Again, Saban's comments, not mine, not LSU media and not Bama fans on blogs and message boards.

The Instagram post was clearly excuse making. If he had left out the "one leg" part I wouldn't say shite. But he claimed to be playing on one leg when he practiced since Wednesday of the bye week and played every snap. And he will do the same this week. Its clearly bullshite.

I want to see links to these posts. There should be an abundance to choose from, since the board was flooded with them.

So Tua has in no way shape or form backtracked on the condition of his ankle? And every comment made regarding such was not from his mouth? Got it

He claimed to be playing on one leg to spin an excuse for losing at home. Poor form no matter how you slice it. I bet he practices all week and plays every snap again.

Let's start with reconciling Nick Saban 's post game that the doctors had Tua at between 90 and 100 percent. One leg makes it sound like he shouldn't have even played. You don't see the issue here?

Leveraging the situation to gain sympathy from a committee of people who make playoff decisions isn't poor form. Les Miles got on camera and boasted about being undefeated in regulation - after losing to Arkansas and Kentucky - to influence voters. Was that poor form? Of course not. Get lost.

I don’t know about the board, but I had tons of arguments on Twitter that Tua would not be 100% and Bama fans saying that the team doc said he would be fine, that he would be 100%, and that LSU was going down.

Incidentally...when I went to check on my mentions to relish in my victory, all but one has blocked me.
