And they should be in the playoff because teams will start to lose. Unless LSU beats UGA they should get in. And there is definitely an advantage to playing a team twice. But just because you’ve played a team before, it doesn’t guarantee automatic victory. When UGA played Tennessee, it just looked like our athletes were better across the board. And credit Heupel for what he has done in year two, but he doesn’t quite have the athletes yet. Right now there isn’t a lot of parity in college football. The difference between in the best and second best teams and the third and fourth best teams is wider than it should be. Saban’s decline will probably help there be more parity in the sport.

I don't know. That last second Alabama win that slingshotted them to the top is looking less and less impressive in hindsight.

If TCU rolls through the Big 12 undefeated, they should be in. An undefeated Big 10 champ should be in even though that schedule is also weak. A potential 1 loss PAC 12 will be interesting.
Undefeated P5 champs should be in.

Yes Tennessee should be in, and probably will. I don’t see LSU beating UGA this year so I think Tennessee has a good chance.

TCU and USC likely lose. Ohio st and Michigan take care of themselves. Assuming Georgia beats LSU:

Tennessee should be in if everyone holds where they are. Either Ohio or Michigan will be eliminated.

Tennessee played @ LSU & home vs Bama, back to back weekends. Won both. Has anyone played 2 top 10 teams consecutive weekends and won both this year?
