Alabama 45-32-1 vs Auburn
Clemson 67-41-4 vs SCar
Florida 36-27-2 vs FSU
Miami 29-27 vs Florida
Georgia 64-40-5 vs Georgia Tech
LSU 63-20-7 vs Tulane
Louisville 15-14 vs UK
Mississippi 62-45-2 vs Miss. State
Texas 76-37-5 vs Texas A&M
Tennessee 76-30-4 vs Vanderbilt

Biggest surprises for me: how little Louisville and UK have played and Miami having the slight lead over UF when the Gators were the only one of the "big three" that was decent before 1980

No wonder they ran from them.

I think A&M's over the top conference pride is a way of warming up to their new daddies in the SEC after they left big bad t.u.

That's wrong. Where did you get these records?

Weird. The actual record is 46-37-1 in favor of Alabama.

The Crimson Tide lead the all-time series with the Tigers 45-31-1. Auburn, however, is 13-9 when both teams are ranked.

UK dodged the Cards for a long time. Until about 40 years ago it would be like LSU playing ULM every year as a rivalry.

LSU is 69-23-7 vs. Tulane. Tulane actually used to be a competitive team. They have as many SEC titles (3) than MSU (1), Kentucky (2), Vanderbilt (0), Arkansas (0), A&M (0), Missouri (0) and South Carolina (0) do combined.

Tulane had more SEC titles than Florida until 1994 if we discount UF's vacated titles

The lead is larger than that. Its 68-41-5.
But tech was a strong program until they left the SEC. Series is 42-14 since then.

It sucks that these two don't play every year like they did from 1938-1987. It was a much more balanced and nastier rivalry than Florida-Florida State and dated back 20 years longer. The UF-FSU rivalry was lopsided as hell until the late 70's. It's been pretty even since, even with alot of long winning streaks for each program.

Yeah GT and UGA are referenced in Bama's fight song. The Yellow Jackets have 5 SEC titles, more than half of the current members

That’s not really true, it was a balanced rivalry from the start. Miami had ranked teams back in the 50’s.

Egg Bowl record on the field is actually

62-47-6 (Forget all the forfeits, vacated games etc.)

The difference in the series is due to Johnny Vaught. From 1947-1970, 1973 , Ole Miss was
19-2-4 against State which is effectively the overall difference in the series.

I've heard it was fierce as well as evenly-matched long before Florida-FSU was with e.g. the Florida flop game. It's definitely one of the rivalries I'd like to see played more often, but understandable that having two permanent OOC would be undesirable for both. God I hate to see good rivalries die
