All things aside, this really is a pathetic move by Texas.

After all the drama, name-calling, crying, etc. in 2011, to do this 10 years later? To FOLLOW "little bro" after sucking for 9 years and watch A&M pass them up in everything? It really is a desperate maneuver to try to get back to relevancy before it's too late. It's sad when you really think about it.

Horns down.

They have literally spent the last 11 years telling anyone that would listen that the big 12 was better and that the SEC was beneath them

They have repudiated everything they stood for.

But no one believed them, and instead just laughed at their arrogant asses.

Oklahoma has some of the best fans I've ever been around. Texas on the other hand is the plague.

It's the ultimate "little brother" move.

We were right. They were stupid.

They said SEC was a collection of dumb fricks with low standards back then. Either the collective SEC got a lot smarter or Texass got a lot dumber. You know… good fit and all.

I think it just highlights the ego and lack of dignity by the entire State of Texas. Both A&M and Texas are acting like spoiled children, meanwhile their in-state little siblings are using ill-fated legislation and the threat of litigation to cling on to the relevance granted to them by the Longhorns.

This makes me glad that as shitty as Mizzou is at sports, we don’t have to deal with in-state sibling schools.

It's a pathetic move by the SEC, adding a .500 team from a state where we already have the best team, and market dominance.

i can agree.....but can you get one thing straight?

You are not their big brother. You're, maybe, Tech's or Baylor's big brother.

The big brother moniker used by aggy trollers, here, has been vastly misused over SEC teams like LSU/Ark/Tex/OU, to where no one believes you.

All arguments aside, can you agree with the fact that this term has been blown out of proportion on teams that have winning records over you?

I went when we played them in Norman and they were cool. They seemed proud to have us there and treated us like college football royalty even though we sucked back then. I have no issue with them. Texas on the other hand has ruined 2 conferences with their bullshite and is a cancer I don't want. Besides they may needed to save the west coast and the Pac 12, who are struggling right now. I would hate to lose OU because of some package deal, but as much as I respect OU, they aren't worth all of Texas' bullshite.

If they do end up in the SEC, it needs to be made clear to them that they better toughen their pussified liberal attitudes up. Horns down will not be a penalty. And they will get no special treatment or unfair breaks. Those perks are only for Bama.
