mostly taking up spots in the coveted 40-50 range including spots 49 and 50 (way to represent Arky and Miss).

The crappy 1-10 spots are yankee liberal (leberal) type places.

and they good at the footsballs

The link is a list of what it takes to make the Top 1% in each state.

What does that have to do with this title?

An interesting way to view that would be to look at the average income of the 99% as a percentage of the average income of the top 1%. This should show you which states have the largest wealth gaps. Prediction - the largest gaps are the states that are heavily Democrat lead, union heavy, and where the politicians are the loudest about "the wealthy".

Higher earnings don't mean a same thing if your cost of living is that much higher.

I'd rather earn 60k a year living in the Carolinas or Georgia than earn 80k and live in Connecticut/Mass/RI. Hell weather and culture alone more than makes up the difference for me and that's before we even start to talk about the value of a dollar in each spot.

Any list that ranks earnings of different states but doesn't include a factor for cost of living is garbage. It literally means nothing.

If the average citizen of New Jersey makes $80,000/year while the average citizen of Texas makes $68,000/year..... yet the New Jersey resident pays $15,000 more in taxes each year compared to the resident of Texas, did the New Jersey citizen really "earn" more money?

More like... if you’re wealthy, why live in the arse cracks and tumors of the Union? Seriously. Who the hell willingly lives in Bama? At least Georgia has Atlanta as a somewhat growing bastion of competent, progressive thought.

Tennessee has Nashville btw, which alone has an insane wealth gap.
