All of the jokes about LSU's QB play are well deserving, we sucked in that department

LSU has always had great running backs and receivers over the last decade, they had to be great in order to compensate for LSU's poor passing. All of that is about to change because of Burrrow, doesn't matter who developed him, he's LSU's now.

I’ve been trying to defend y’all but you already know how a post will turnout over here. Not so brutal on TR. I am a believer in transfers. We’ve had some good ones. I know you’re happy and deserve to be, but over here it’s not going to go well for you.

He could be really good but y'all...y'all do this to yourself every year. It's always something. Do you not know how to temper expectations until there's something solid to latch onto? When half the fanbases on the Rant are starting threads trolling LSU here and most of the rest are participating in the threads, you have to figure it's not them, it's you.

Other fans, trolls, and those too ignorant to look at facts are going to go about their business as usual and blast away. Nothing we do or don't do will halt that. We have threads started on the SEC Rant about how we could be getting a 3rd stringer before he was even headed to LSU for certain. There had been 2 threads that prior started by LSU fans. Then he announced his intentions of heading South, and the SEC Rant blew up.
They do them. We will do what we do. Get super excited and raise expectations to unexpectable levels.

First things first, though. Before y'all start getting expectations high, y'all need to figure out nicknames, catchphrases, and chants. Maybe "Edward R. Burrow?" "Tiger Burr?" "Burrow my heart at Death Valley?" "Y'all may have stallions, but we got a Burrow?" "Can I Burrow a win?"

Burrow didn’t run from competition at Ohio St, by all media accounts he won the three scrimmages competing against the other two QBs. Urban faced a tough decision but it was the right decision for LSU!!

A strong LSU is good for SEC, Burrows should make you guys better offensively. Truth is he's a bandaid (hopefully) to stop the "O" bleeding. It's a gift and curse, LSU avoids that extra perplexing loss or two and Coach O hangs around never really getting over the hump.

I get being excited about potentially getting a good QB for a QB-starved program of late but maybe pumping the brakes might be a good thing for the moment until he plays a meaningful snap?
