Yeah. That's factually incorrect. Clemson was #9 going into that game, va tech was #7 in 2009 game, Penn State was ranked both years, Michigan was ranked #8 going into that game, and va tech was top 25 preseason this year.
Also, you schedule games years in advance so even if your argument were true it would be invalid.
