Alabama won't win the national title this year because the schedule is too tough!

To win it would mean from Nov 1st on Bama would have to beat what projects to be a top 10 or so LSU, a likely top 15 MSU, a very likely top 5 Auburn, a very real 1, 2 or 3 ranked UGA and then two playoff teams. That's all in a freaking row. 6 bad arse football games. Not impossible but damn near impossible! So rest easy Bama haters it ain't likely!
That said LSU would have a finishing kick of games to win of Bama, UGA, and 2 playoff teams. That ain't happening either but that's just four to win late. Auburn would have UGA, Bama, UGA again and then 2 play off teams. No way Jose! The Dawgs are the most likely SEC team to win it all. They would have AU, either AU again or Bama and then 2 playoff games. Still tough but it ain't 6 coming down the stretch like Bama or 5 like AU. SEC is tough.
Just my opinion and if any team can win 6 straight games of that magnitude UA can. But it's gonna be tough.

BS sport model. No team is equipped to win 6 games of that magnitude coming at you boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom! With the first three Death Matches and the last three elimination games. Imagine this: @ LSU-MSU-AU-UGA in ATL-Clemson-OhioSt. Frick me running!
Clemson has a huge advantage. Big time football players, not one but 4 All American Defensive linemen. A cake walk through the ACC and a championship game against Virginia Tech or Miami or whatever. They can sleepwalk through that. Then let it rip for 2 games. They got the team to win it straight up but add the way then set up late and boom! For a championship there is really three seasons. Early games, late league championship and playoff qualifying games then the playoffs.

Puitt's working his butt off. This is perfect forhe and Tennessee. He was born, bred and raised and then whittled on by the best to persevere through this. This challenge will set the Vols on a diff level of toughness. Best thing that could have happened. His family and he and some of his coaches there go back to Coach Bryant. He will bring in a strong class this year and won't look back.

Bama is a lock regardless. They can sit out of the SEC championship game and they'll still get into the Playoffs. Pathetic but reality.

CaptainBrannigan Auburn is pretty good in a country sort of way. In 2017 you were 2nd best team in South Carolina, although getting the QB sacked 12 times by an ACC school was not a high point or something you want on your tombstone. But in any event back to your bragging points, 2nd best in Louisiana, but you gave the winner of the American Athletic Conference (Whatever that is) a good game before folding. And you held the SEC champs under 50 in the conference championship game. So yeah losing four a year would get you fired in a hell of a hurry @ Alabama but in an also ran rural LEE County sort of way that deserves a ring and a $50 million dollar contract to keep your coach from getting a promotion and leaving for Arkansas.
