Saban hasn't beaten a heisman winning quarterback (the year of the QB winning) since being at Alabama.

Both of them beat Bama before they won it.

Playing a Heisman Trophy winner will just let Saban fire up his defense even more.

Go back and look at the 92 Heisman winner, he was the last one to play Bama after winning it. Didn't turn out too well for him.

Deshaun Watson?

Both are listed as Heisman trophy winning QBs and I dont acknowledge irrelevant qualifiers

Oh I thought he had gotten one - definitely was robbed. Is/was better than all other QBs mentioned thus far in this thread

It could happen; Bama definitely has the tougher game. If the best teams is the criteria, then OU definitely should have been ranked above ND.

Yes, because Saban was going to hold his defense back in the playoffs if Tua won the Heisman

Too lazy to look it up. Didn't LSU, under Saban, beat Oklahoma for the BCS title the year Jason White won the trophy?

How was that a troll?

I just don’t get people saying that Bama’s defense is going to play better now. They were always going to be fired up. It’s the freaking playoffs.

I mean I think it's feasible to think that bama may play better defense when he has a month to plan.

Tebow won the Heisman in 2007. Alabama didn't play Florida that year. Reading comprehension is difficult

I don't know if they will lose but Murray is the type of QB that usually gives them fits.

They will have to match point for point because their defense is awful
