It’s great with smoked chicken or on pulled pork sandwiches.

If you rubes think white sauce is for BBQ pork, you're doing it wrong.
It's specifically for chicken.

I love it on chicken fingers too.

Good BBQ doesn't need sauce at all.
Let me guess, you don't live in Alabama.

bullshite, try Martin's white sauce on pulled pork. Makes a great sandwich. Most rubes use it on chicken because they only taste the smoke with bland chicken. White sauce on pulled pork is very good if it has a little heat in it.

Slaw on a Bbq is the way to go

It was literally invented because chicken is so dry when it's been in a smoker for hours.
Yes, people eat it with pork as well, but it's best with chicken. If I'm putting sauce on pork, I'm only going with a good vinegar sauce. But that's me.

What difference would that make? My point is true regardless of my location.
Good BBQ absolutely does not need sauce. KC is the best BBQ in the world and anyone arguing otherwise is just blindly being a homer. There is no comparison.

Ribs don't need sauce because of the bone and some fat. Pulled pork needs a good rub and a wet sauce because without it smoke is the only flavor added to it. Beef is totally different, a good brisket doesn't need a sauce because of the fat and smoke.
Gibson's and Martha's white sauce is good for chicken only. Martin's is totally different.

You keep naming places, and in another post you started talking about someone's location as if it mattered.
Do you know how to smoke a good pork butt or ribs yourself?

Sounds like what you know about BBQ is only matched by what you know about Auburn coaching searches.

I have been all over the South and have eaten BBQ in all those states. NC's BBQ is overrated, and Texas is good for beef. Memphis is good for ribs. Alabama's BBQ is really the best for pork and is very underrated. Not really great Ribs in Alabama, despite what people say about Archibald's and Dreamlands. And location means everything, just like Alabama and white sauce.

Well, that's not true at all.

White sauce sucks. It’s like a liquid mayonnaise sandwich. Perfect for Alabama.

Sounds like you are as fricked up about Auburn's coaching search as you are BBQ. You must live in NY.

No, just no.
And who cares about pulled pork anyway? It's the chicken mcnugget of the BBQ world.
