Alabama vs Georgia 2015

This game was the first one in a LONG time that Alabama was not favored to win. Turned out to be a rare occasion where Vegas was wrong. Georgia could not rise to the occasion though Chubb did get his 100 yard game mostly on a long run in garbage time.
I submit for your viewing pleasure, Bama at UGA 2015.

Somehow before this game, Bama was left for dead.
... yet somehow we've won 2 more NC's since then.
Discuss.

“One loss doesn’t knock Alabama out of the playoff race, as Saban proved again for the hundredth time last year, but there was a distinct “end of an era” feel to this loss… But all good things must come to an end. It happened to Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Miami, Southern California and every other college football dynasty in the past 50 years.
... yet somehow we've won 2 more NC's since then.
Discuss.

I was one of the 300 or so UGA fans still there when the clock hit 0:00.
Went into the game thinking we were national contenders... left drenched and sad.

This game decided Mark Richt's fate.
That pain led to growth, so it was for the best.

It still amazes me that UGA has only won 1 NC during my lifetime, and has only played for the NC 3 times...
Talk about snake bit......

Bama had already lost to Ole Miss and the passing game was very pedestrian the following 2 weeks.
Bama eased up on the gameplan and dominated UGA. Few pass attempts, but the we're very efficient.

I loved that game. UGA fans ran that mouth all week and ended up leaving early. Typical.

Bama had just gotten beat by Ole Miss (though we did beat ourselves with 5 turnovers) two weeks before. Before this game was when the guys who knew it all (Colin Cowherd, Joel Klatt, etc.) declared Bama dead.

Good God, Reggie Ragland and Reuben Foster were beasts

Hats off to Bama but once it was clear that the game would be played in a monsoon, it was also clear that the team with the better lines would win.
Our best shot was to be able to pass to set up the run, not happening in a hurricane.

That game was a fricking letdown long before kickoff. All that build up during the summer and the week and it fricking pissed rain like god was blackout drunk. Tailgating was shite, downtown was shite, game was shite. As mentioned, this was the beginning of the end for Richt (Florida and Georgia Southern that year sealed it despite a 10 win season) and Bama was clearly the better team but what a bag over the head it was to not be able to play that game in decent conditions.

Vegas is never wrong. The line reflects what the betting public wants

I knew without question that we were going to get drubbed that day. That was a Mark Richt special, just like the UF games where we made Treon Harris look like Charlie Ward.

Saban is the master of sport psychology. He creates drama to motivate his team. He says he doesn't want his players listening to the media or reading their press clippings and buying into their own hype, but he lives off anything negative that is said about him in the press. It is like a fuel that keeps burning. And when there isn't any fuel he'll manufacture it somehow. Example: Last season when Ole Miss came to town their wasn't a peep from Ole Miss. They were humble and very respectful. Saban flipped that into disrespect saying that they weren't talking because they felt the didn't have to say anything because they knew they could beat Alabama.

When we were having a tough time pushing Southern off the line in the 1st half the week before, I thought we could be in for a long week against Bama.
But then we finally came out to play and I thought we just needed to wake up against a bad opponent.
The following week showed us just how far away we were from being a National Contender, and I believe is one of the huge reasons we stressed getting Sam Pittman and making the offensive line a priority going forward.
Probably the worst game I’ve ever been to. Didn’t leave early either. That was definitely the beginning of the end for Richt.

Not surprising,,,,,we shite the bed against Ole Miss the week before......even Bama dickrider Finebaum was saying the Saban dynasty was over.
An extremely pissed off Bama and Saban came into Sanford and took it out their frustration on the Dawgs. Chubb didn't do shite and his yards were garbage time yards. I think that game was the final nail in Richt's coffin as well.

I'll never forget Finebaum praising the sainthood of Mark Richt all week after Richt appeared on the show with a beautiful story about God and his paw paw or some bullshite, then watching Richt's team try and thug it up with Bama before the game started. What a total embarrassment he was and Bama delivered that day.
Woof woof lol

But the Dawgs did rock their bus and jump up and down when Bama ran onto the field........and then
Whoaaaaaaaaa....there goes Henry again. If any of your good Dawgs fans are near the stadium then stop by and tell Derrick he can stop running now.
