That would be Sam Pittman who Saban tried to hire on at least 3 different occasions and I know he is now a head coach but he still helps with the o line.

Ya an NFL team could back up the brinks truck - but maybe he wants some stability and a stocked OLINE room like he would have at Alabama given how much attrition and mish-mash he has had to deal with in the NFL. Not sure what our offer would be or if we could / would match NFL level offers.

For 8 of them they were coached by the two Mikes.
History says very strongly that Alabama doesn't stumble into a Saban and go back to a Shula. Instead, they have a brief stint of Shula and then return to a guy that wins titles.
