Sounds like a good series, but this just confirms the gross Aggie-Bama lovefest will continue for 5 more years

I like the Ags but more in a next door neighbor that I wave and make small talk with but nothing else kind of way.

Had no idea until I just looked that Texas all time record against Alabama is 7-1-1.

Kind of a big loss.

Yeah the '09 win was the first time Bama ever beat Texas. Frankly Darryl Royal owned Bear's arse.

Hmm does Texas want to join the SEC? Longhorns would be welcomed.

God willing one day we will see A&M and Arkansas rotating games against Texas at Jerry's World.

No thanks.
ANY game at Jerry World is miserable.
Versus the horns would be .

It would be a slap in the face to the aggies and MO. Arkansas would be a solid no, also. It would definitely hurt our program.

Smart play for Texas. If the B12 is ever going to make its way back to a top 2 conference then Texas has to be back and they have to beat the big dogs. Scheduling Bama is the best way to do both. Of course getting pantsed on national TV isn't going to help the process if that happens. But if they do beat Bama in either of those games it'll be monumental for them.

Errmerrgerrdz, I hope Tejas is more relevant then than Louisville was supposed to be now. If not, the assorted Tigers will be making threads about Bama’s weak schedule.

This is their home slate last year.

Maryland
San Jose State
Kansas State
Oklahoma State
Kansas
Texas Tech

Okie State, Kansas State and Tech are usually great games. Maryland was a fun team before their QBs ate shite.

Y'all had:
Nichols State
UL Lala
Scar
Bama
Miss State
Auburn
New Mexico.

I honestly dont see that as much better. Y'all had 4 good games and so did we. Does the Saban Dynasty still have you star struck or do you just like the new tail gating crowd?

There is no way that Texas Tech, Maryland, Kansas State and Okie Lite are equal to Bama, Auburn, Miss State and USC.

frick the cocks alone would be the third largest fanbase in the Big 12 if they joined, and have a bigger stadium (aka a bigger fanbase) than any of those "good" teams on Texas's schedule.

It is a night and day difference, and the only people denying it are the ones who would otherwise spit on Tech or Okie Lite fans in another context.
