Alabama should cut its basketball program

It’s obvious that we will never be truly competitive in the sport do to apathy. I don’t care about the sport and a majority of Alabama fans outside this forum don’t either.
So I think it best to just do away with it and put the freed up funds to sports that actually matter to the fan base and student body - like football.
Downvote away but we are a football school and thus should focus as much of our funding to football as humanly possible.

Alabama basketball has a great fan base with a shitty team. We haven't been to the NCAA in years and we consistently sold out a 15k arena for conference games.

Wasn't my point. It was a hire everyone agreed with. Sometimes it doesn't work out. But in hindsight, you can't have sour grapes over it, just move on to the next one.

After all the cheating stuff is sorted out we will be able to fire Avery with cause. Problem is nobody worth a crap is going to come to Bama. We try and back up the Brinks truck and still can’t attract a legit coach
