Yet take his contract out and State is still in third (with several free agents)

Eta: well now 4th since Bama’s numbers were wrong. Take out the trash in Tannehill tho and y’all lose 29.5 million

Hunter Henry about to help Arkansas out.

Pittmans boys he is getting will drive that price up.

Wait for Burks and Catalon to get contracts.

Who is the best State player of all time in the NFL? No flame serious question

You don’t know what you’re talking about. He says yazoo city because his highschool coach passed. It’s to honor him.

Eta: he might not have passed. Fletch has tweeted about it tho. He loves State.

What is the based on? Cummulative year salary? Marlon Humphrey just signed a $97.5 million extension worth almost 19 million a year. Julio and Amari are also making 20 million a year plus

It’s not taking their average it’s taking how much they actually make next year.

For you younger guys here:

Probably the all time best NFL player from State is DD Lewis.
He played LB for Dallas for 13 seasons (1968-1981), played in five SB’s, still holds the record for most play off games by a Cowboy (27), started 135 consecutive games which is an incredible stat for a LB (or any player for that matter), was the starter at weak side LB for nine consecutive years.

One his famous quotes was “Texas Stadium has a hole in its roof so God can watch his favorite team play”.

At State, He was an AA his SR year and Bear Bryant called him “the best LB in the country”
He is in the CFB HF , MS and TN HF’s.
