The SEC Regular Season Titles list goes:

Kentucky - 49

-a fifty foot hole in the ground-
-a thick layer of destroyed Steve Spurrier visors-
-the place where Logan Young murder evidence is buried-
-a random pair of Pat Dye's pants-

and deep deep under all that you find

Alabama - 11
LSU - 11
Tennessee - 11

I think the 5 hookers that Craig James killed were under the Spurrier visors last time I looked

Had no idea LSU has won 11. The seasons which stick out in my mind are mostly the Final Four years.

A few more to round out the list...

Kentucky - 49
Alabama - 11
LSU - 11
Tennessee - 11
Florida - 7
Mississippi State - 6
Auburn - 4
Vanderbilt - 3
Arkansas - 2
Georgia Tech - 2
Texas A&M - 1
South Carolina - 1
Georgia - 1
Tulane - 1
Ole Miss - 0
Missouri - 0

Fun fact — Georgia has as many SEC regular season titles as Tulane, and fewer than Georgia Tech.

A third of those were under Dale Brown in and around the 1980s, with players like Chris Jackson and Shaq.

They had another run under John Brady in the early 2000s.

Georgia Tech hasn't been in the SEC in forever and are tied with the great Arkansas for SEC regular season titles.

That is one helluva SEC/NCAA title ratio.

Ole Miss - 0

frick! What is Ole Miss good for. I get it, the won the World Series last year but yes they were the last team in the tournament. Zero sec championship game appearances to join Kentucky and Vandy as only original schools not to make it. Other than the opposite sex, what do they bring to the conference

Bama fans love them some meaningless conference championships. I would too if my team never made a single final four and only one elite 8.

I understand why an Ohio State fan would not understand the significance of winning a conference championship. It's just not that big a deal to win the B1G. But winning a conference championship in the SEC is a big deal indeed. It just means more.

I don’t know about that. Big 10 has had some good basketball over the years.
