Fun fact...the last time Florida beat Alabama (2008), Alabama was wearing their road whites. Another fun fact, the last time Alabama beat Florida (2016), Alabama was wearing their road whites. What does it all mean? Absolutely nothing.

Another fun fact, the first time they wore them, the win catapulted Bama to its first NC since Coach Bryant

I've always thought white helmets with red jerseys at home looked awesome. We wore that combo at home vs. Houston 1n 1971, and I think Perkins may have done it once or twice.
Bobby Humphrey, mid-eighties I think.

Perkins brought them out in the 80s, but it didn't work out very well. White Helmets, Field Turf and the reintroduction of a live elephant mascot named Albatross are typical off-season repetitive nonsense topics.
Personally, I'd like to see the helmets. No better time than 2020 to roll them out for a game.

They need to wear the Satin blue helmets/jerseys. Pants Satin blue or white. That uniform color combo rocks!

I may be in the minority but I’m not a fan of those white helmets. Looks too much like Nebraska in that picture and our red helmets are iconic

Don't care one way or another about the helmets but Bamas road whites and auburn's all whites with white helmets are the best uniforms ever.

My 1st Bama game was 1959 Bama vs Memphis State and the white helmet was the deal. Bama wore the crimson helmet for the 1st time vs Texas in the 60 season Bluebonnet Bowl.

Really not coach Saban's thing to change tradition. He'll probably use his limited time this week working on a gameplan.
