If they come out and smoke Michigan, I will be just as impressed as with all the titles. I don’t know how in the hell you get kids to play with intensity when everybody on that team but true freshmen have been in the national title game every year they’ve been there (which is nuts). I think they do smoke them, but motivation will be almost impossible.

I know this season has been disappointing for Alabama, but these games are important. It’s another chance to rep your school and bring home some hardware and enjoy some postseason success.

Any word on players sitting? Love bama in the game ( betting not a fan) but that’s what scares me. They won’t show up and lose and we hear how great Michigan is!

How many will make business decisions?
How many bama fans attend? Parents, family, some students maybe?

It sucks ending the season in the Citrus, but I hope this team annihilates Michigan like they did MichState back in 2010.

Michigan has a lot more to play for than Alabama. Alabama will basically be second team on offense/defense.

Will be interesting to see the young guys play against a good opponent

Bama should destroy Michigan, even if they’re not hyped up for this. The pollster’s Big Ten love affair is sickening at this point.

Serious question so I don't flood the board with another Bama thread: What are ya'll hearing as far as players sitting out as draft prospects? I don't think this game is close if ya'll come in with a full squad ready to play

It's "close" even if they do. This calendar year, Alabama hasn't beaten one single ranked team. I'd like to know one good reason why they won't begin the next calendar year with a loss.

They'll show up for sure because the guys who'll be playing will be jockeying for starting positions. They just won't be good enough. They'll all be second and third teamers and guys, that if not for all these injuries would be in the transfer portal.

Boz said Saban expects them all to play so it must be true.

If saban just gets half of the projected first and second round players to play against michigan, then he's reaffirmed himself as the goat.

I don't expect all to sit, but I definitely don't expect all to play.

As far as fan support/apathy, who knows. I'll be there, but my family also spent a couple of Christmas afternoons driving to Shreveport in the past, so we definitely aren't the norm

Rolling out the excuses 3 weeks before the game.
