That is good news. I would be crushed if I was a Senior and my season got cancelled.

That's still 4.5 weeks away. I won't be surprised if they cancel the whole thing between now and then.

Is Hoover still any good? I remember for a while it seemed like it was just them and Prattville going back and forth

We’ll see if high school football happens everywhere in Alabama. Hard to see how a school system could choose to do school remotely (which numerous systems will likely do), but then still have athletic practices/events.

A hybrid model. Core classes at home and electives at school.

Glad people are coming to their senses. No reason for anything else to be closed or cancelled due to a virus with a death rate on par with the flu.

That’s the damn truth. And speaking of, a lady called in a local radio show about losing her grandfather who had a failing heart the last 2 years. He had a heart attack and died in the hospital. She said his doctor listed it as heart failure but she said on the official death certificate his death was listed as “Covid 19”
I have doctors in my family and they all say this is going on everywhere. Pure fraud!

And people trusting random people that have zero credibility other than feeding their own perception bias instead of trusting credible people who have logic, reason, and data to back up their assertions is one of the biggest fricking problems in this country.
I can't even count the number of times I see this dumb fricking thing on the internet. If you want to assert that doctors are fraudulently ascribing the reason for death as COVID-19 when that's not the case, then that shite can be reported and investigated. Go through that avenue.
Just saying "I heard Joe Schmoe say *whatever*" doesn't mean a goddamn thing. Stop fricking believe shite that people say if they don't have any credible evidence, logic, data, or anything to show for it. This is basic critical thinking, why are so many people so bad at it

Well I was going off of what the doctors in my family told me after I mentioned what the lady said who called in a local radio show.
So that got me thinking, let me see what is out there. Well try this out for size Mr. head in the sand.

Oh, and here is a perfect example of someone trying to explain a false Covid death certificate as a “Clerical error”.

Just to make sure, you do realize that doctor is anti-vaccine, correct? And that doesn't raise any warning flag that maybe you shouldn't be looking to this person for credible information?

So there you have a case where there was an error, and the hospital reached out to the family and explained the error and had it corrected.
Okay, so now that we've gotten the normal protocol for this occurrence, how many reported cases are there where the hospital has called the family to tell them they made a mistake? Or how many times has a family received a death certificate and say that they didn't even know that their loved one had COVID-19?
Dozens? Hundreds? Thousands?

Any example I give you you’re still gonna make an excuse so I won’t bother.

There is no excuse, only logic.
Here, try and refute this. This what you call, using data and logic to develop a satsifying argument.
In 2018, there were around 60,000 deaths due to pnuemonia and the flu.

Note: Add up all the numbers under the "Deaths" column.
In 2020, from February 1 to current (about 6 months), there have been over 80,000 deaths due to pneumonia by itself, without any COVID-19.

Note: I've totaled up all the numbers here, just subtract total deaths of pneumonia and covid from total deaths of pneumonia: LINK /
Why do you think there are so many more pnuemonia deaths in 2020 (currently on track for 100,000 more) than 2018, assuming that none of the patients of the 80,000 who died of pneumonia had COVID-19?
Is there some secret cabal of doctors and government officials plotting to fraudulently increase the number of deaths due to pneumonia?

Well for starters, you’re trying to explain logic to people who believe twenty lies a day...lol

My question is, what happens when someone on the team tests positive? What’s the procedure?

I'd keep them away from elderly relatives and other at-risk people. Beyond that...if they're asymptomatic...let them play.
