So killing someone else was a non-coward act?

Idiot

Kyren Lacy killed himself to avoid facing punishment for killing another person.

Idiot.

He paid the ultimate price for his error - meanwhile, Ruggs wants to play ball again.

No, the ultimate price would be taking his punishment like a man, now the victim's families will never get justice.

frick it. Some transgressions are too severe for you to just walk away from. I think as a society we take vehicle crashes and deaths way too cavalierly. He shouldn't be out catching passes this soon.

Weird take.

I'd rather all tPOS folks just commit suicide, then my tax dollars don't have to go to support them, they aren't actively reproducing, and they aren't in danger of injuring or killing more people.

At least he got actual prison time (unlike Dante Stallworth and Leonard Little).

Like a Death Penalty?

I can tell you from experience, “justice” in today’s courts is few and far between.

Ruggs can ride the back of a garbage truck for the rest of his professional life.
To add to his misery and further punishment, he can ride the hometown truck in Montgomery, Alabama every fricking day for all I care.

Murder is a stretch. Many, many people leaving Tiger Stadium after a game have been in that same condition. They just didn’t have a corvette to drive.

I feel so bad for the families involved with the Riggs, Lacy, and any other loss. But, I feel for the dumb kid that put themselves in that position too. No intention of that happening.

I couldn’t care less if he plays again or not, but a large portion of the salary going to the family or some charity would be appropriate

That's the reality of the whole thing. It could have been a lot of us given the right situation. I was not prepared to be a millionaire in my early 20s. Neither was he.

Nothing will ever change or fix what he did. But if the government says he has served his time, then he should be free to do what he wants. If a team will take a flyer on him, hopefully he can make the best of it and down the road something good can somehow be made out of the situation.

Besides, all the people that want him executed or locked up for life will also then turn around and bitch about having to pay to incarcerate him for the next 40+ years or lengthy, expensive legal battles. Let him go earn a living and make restitution to the family.

Who cares. We know an average person like you or me would be in for lot longer than 4 years after driving 156 mph resulting in killing an innocent woman. His status doesnt make his actions any less despicable.

Yes an NFL team will hire him back. Someone will generate some PR story and then claim he is very sorry. The weirdos can fall for that fake af redemption story. I already told you what I need.

I got no problem with it. He did his time. If he can legally play football and is still a viable player, then so be it. But, he should have to give a portion of his income to the family -- at least 50%.

I know you're trolling, but personally I think they should bury him under the prison.

Ruggs was no hero. He was a very fast receiver with butter fingers. Waddle among others were the hero’s
