Their defense was shockingly average against us.

It’s the result of going full up tempo spread on the other side, same thing is happening to LSU.

The initial reporting on this was wrong. Saban yesterday...

. “From an injury standpoint, LaBryan Ray is probably out for sure for this game (against Southern Miss),” Alabama head coach Nick Saban said in a press conference. “We’re doing some further testing to see what the situation is with his foot, but it’s undetermined right now as to how long he may be out.”

Relative to some others it was beyond weak. They got a starting corner. An outstanding kick returner/wide rec. Maybe some others will develop down the road but right now two is all the starting types produced by that class. Five 2019 freshmen are already starters on defense, partially because it is a good defensive class and partially because the 2018 class is weak. And because positions came open due to devastating injuries on that side of the ball.

You seem to be pretty interested in Alabama’s injury report. UGA fan hoping injuries will the way for them? Sounds about right.

Glad their trash team can't even score on Bama.

News flash. LSU now has one of the best offenses in the country. And Bama's defense has taken a step back. Times have changed. 11/9 can't get here soon enough.

You make Bama fans look trashy. What I posted was not trashy at all. What you posted took a shot at all LSU fans! Way to be classy

Alabama is a finesse team now. Good for the offense, bad for the defense. Don’t know why it works that way, but it does.

Its rare that I find myself agreeing with Auburn folks, but this guy is spot on.

Agree. Alabama will have to outscore a few teams this year. LSU will put up a lot of points. Will be interesting to see how high the score will be for both teams.

What happened to him? I thought he had surgery in the summer to fix the problem?

Well, OU has done it two years in a row, making the playoff with a great QB and receivers and no D at all. I think Bama can probably do the same with their skill guys.

Forget 2019. We've had an incredibly bad run on injuries since the second half of 2016.

It makes what Saban has done even more amazing to me. I don't know how he manages to replace more early NFL departures and more injuries (in the last 4 years) and keep a championship level, #1 recruiting classes or not.

With the group of speedy receivers and an experienced Bama QB has this year I still wouldn’t get too confident in a game against them...I would consider this one of the best all time group of receivers ever at Bama....I still look to them as being very competitive regardless...when you play them your offense and defense will still have to bring it... let’s b real....
