Fun Fact: LSU has never lost a game in any sport, 100% of the time they lose due to the refs/REC

Meh. Neither fanbase enjoyed that shite show. At the 7 minute mark of the first half, they were calling an average of more than 2 fouls per minute. That should never, ever happen with two very talented, ranked teams. We got our teeth kicked in, and it wasn’t the refs fault - but that was almost unwatchable.

If I was Nate Oats right now I'd be getting suspended for the next several games. That was a shite show.

I'd love to see a breakdown of calls by crews/insividual refs. Some games are called so tight its ridiculous, other games look like wrestling matches. There really needs to be an attempt at consistency.

Alabama attempted 8 free throws.

Arkansas attempted 43.

I agree. You just never know how its going to be called, which is tough on the players. By the time they realize the refs are foul crazy they are on the bench with a second foul early.

The game was called way too tight...on both ends.

Free throw mismatch was due to Bama shooting nothing but 3s. Hogs were driving the ball...thus the free throws.

Bama also has about 7 fouls that were necessary trying to get back in the game after it was over.

In contrast, in the second LSU and Bama game, a player had to decapitate someone for a foul to be called. But I'd still rather that, though I would prefer it not extreme either way.

Nolan walked off the court @Texas in 1990? Just said "frick it" and walked to the locker room. Then Arkansas won and destroyed a Longhorn wet dream.
