This is pertinent info if I'm being honest.

Playing our games against Arkansas State and FIU at 2 PM instead of 6 PM is very much a SEC Network era change.

Again, whatever, but it's reasonable to at least bring it up to the Network as a request. If they say no then they say no.

Alabama didn't complain about 11am kickoffs. Alabama complained about not having a night OOC September game since 2014. I know that's hard for you to understand since LSU hasn't had a DAY home OOC game in the same time period.

Don't worry, the SEC commish was in Tuscaloosa yesterday and the future schedule's release has been held up so you'll likely soon get to enjoy Red Stick in the 100 degree afternoon sun.

Alabama played in one of the first national televised primetime games in 1969 versus Ole Miss. But that was Legion Field. I’m not sure when BDS got lights.

Yeah, I figured they put off installing lights because they could just play at Legion Field instead.

Old Huey put in lights for the same reason he built an art deco skyscraper for a state capitol. Because he could.

Alabama: “we are the best team in the country and the best program ever. Everyone wants to watch us when we play.”

Also Alabama: “wahhhhhhhh we cant schedule competitive games because we’re so good and also we don’t want our non competitive games to be chosen by the SEC network as the 11 am game”

Yes those are non competitive games and they are lower on the tv selection. Congrats you have the most watched games when teams are playing OOC garbage so you win the 11 am prize. What’s so confusing?

Gus is on record saying he'd rather play at Noon so the REC should take him at his word and give Auburn all the Noon games and Bama can play at 6 pm.

Problem solved.

We don't even play at 11 AM that often, so, that doesn't work either.

When you take a 45 million dollar TV check you play whenever they tell you.

If you want to play at night in August/September then don't schedule New Mexico State type teams that only Alabama fans will watch at night.

Furthermore, as Mark Packer said on Sirius yesterday, the Alabama fan base has been bitching and whining since January and it's become ridiculous.

While Bama is still one of the gold standards of college football, they are no longer a the top of the hill all alone. UGa, Clemson, possibly Oklahoma and LSU are in their yard and they don't like it and Saban has become that grumpy old man yelling for kids to stay off of his yard....

Yep...But it's more than that one game. if you lose once it's just one of those things, but after a few times it becomes a trend and that's where I think Saban and the fans are spun up. Football fans piss and moan all of the time when things don't right for their team.

When you've got Nick Saban attacking the very fan base that pays your salary because they don't want to sit in 100 heat in a 60 point route then something is wrong. Using the lame reason of needing the recruits to see a fun stadium is hilarious. Your Alabama and that doesn't mean shite.

Alabama didn't complain about 11AM kicks, specifically. They complained about the lack of September night games at home.

So what are the numbers for September home games played at 11, 2:30 or 3?
