In terms of talent this is the closest comparison. But all those LSU receivers didn't do anything tremendous as far as numbers or accomplishments. Bama blows them out of the water when it comes to production and winning

One minor detail WillieT has conveniently left out. Tua didn't play in the 4th quarter of the majority of Bama's games last year and Bama was in run the clock out mode trying to not run up the score. I know this is hard for a LSU fan to comprehend.

Ole Miss played 12 games.
Alabama played 15 games.

That’s a 12 quarter difference.

Tua sat out roughly 7-9 quarters.

Comprehend?

ETA: and that 12 quarter difference is a 20 quarter difference if we include 2017.

WillieT -

"Tua sat out roughly 7-9 quarters." REALLY? Go back and check. You're math is bad. Hell, if they had left Tua in those games or even let Hurts throw in 4th there wouldn't even be a conversation here.

Probably would be a fairer comparison to look at the passes thrown by the QBs for each team...don't have time for that right now...maybe later

but but what if we include 2017!! Yeah, let's compare Hurts running the Bama offense to the Ole Miss offense. Ole Miss hasn't been able to run the ball in years, so pass, pass, pass.

Apples to oranges dude. But it is entertaining seeing a LSU fan dickriding Ole Miss. You don't see that one everyday.

But to the GIF - awesome movie.

Hurts had no help from his WR’s

Meaning defenses were focused on stopping the pass.

I was asked to provide a list.

And Tua will still be a better QB than Joe. By a long shot.
