Alabama leads the series with a record of 37-2-1. That's a winning percentage of almost 94%. Kentucky defeated Alabama in 1922 by a score of 6-0 and in 1997 (in overtime) by a score of 40-34. I'm just curious to know if there is a more lopsided series in the SEC.

I think LSU's win % over us is over 90% but they've played about half the times as Bama-UK.

Someone might have to verify but I think our 26-4 record vs Vandy is the highest win % vs the Dores in the league.

So, Bama plays Kentucky least once a year in basketball...sometimes 3 and the football team may get a shot every 4/5 years. I can see how the numbers could be skewed.

You only played Alabama 3 times during the Bryant era and 4 times during the Saban era. If we'd played every year I think the % might actually be worse

Of the teams that have been in the league since before the 1990s I think we are #3 in the SEC in win % in basketball vs Kentucky behind Tennessee and Florida (which is sad for the league).

That makes two of us. They know football, but that's it.

AP Football All-Time Top 100

AP Basketball All-Time Top 100
30. Alabama

Currently, the men’s soccer is ranked #2
The Volleyball team is ranked #2
Women’s Basketball is top 12
Women’s Swimming ranked top 10

Kentucky is ranked much higher then Bama in AD Cup.

And Alabama has Top 25 Track, Swimming, Softball, Gym, Tennis, Golf, etc. Pretty sure we basically fall in nearly the same spot in the Director's Cup on average over the last 5-10 years, and that's with basketball in the shitter and baseball at the depths of a total rebuild.

2019
14. Kentucky
31. Alabama

2018
14. Alabama
17 Kentucky

No one really cares unless they win it. Kinda like minor sports. You don't keep a close eye on them, but bring it up if the team wins a championship ala Kentucky Rifle

During Wimp's tenure, twelve years from 1981 to 1992, Alabama was in the finals of the SEC championship 8 times to only 4 for Kentucky.

You forgot the part about acting like you pay attention to it and getting mad when people suggest you don't.

"Uh, yea I keep up with Women's swimming. I watch it on ESPN+ all the time. Sorry you don't care about your school!"
