Not that they would be fearful of that.

They play them every year, now, but the three perms doesn’t have to be a thing if they aren’t going to make it fair.

Not when TENNESEE gets a freebie.

Would be pretty absurd if they went that route. Whatever they do though, the schedules are going to be laughably uneven. I would say switch LSU and MSU for Auburn and Arkansas and that would make more sense. Arky has more of a rivalry with LSU than we do.

Vols aren't gonna like that, they wanna keep feasting on UK and Vandy annually like they've done a combined 227 times.

You want to give up y'alls sweet trophy? Y'all have played them historically much more than you've played us.

If this SEC office had balls they’d do this. This is what happens when you cry so much about keeping rivalries intact and always causing scheduling issues. Bama & Auburn want to keep the iron bowl and their rivalries with UGA and Tennessee. Ok, you can keep them but you’re not getting Vandy or Mississippi St. as your 3rd opponent.

This won’t happen though. They’re going to let Bama have at least 1 easy permanent opponent.

Is there a way to have just two perms and rotate the rest?

Like

ALABAMA plays AU and TenN every year.

Rotate the others every other year.
2025
LSU
Arky
Mizz
Florida
Usc
Vandy

2026
Aggy
Ou
Tex
Miss
MSU
Uga

Rotate Kentucky in for 2027
Take one team out.

If Florida was the 3rd team, I think you'd have a point, but LSU would be a head scratcher.

I don't think they're at all correct with those predictions.

I think these will be much closer to what we'll end up seeing:

That is a great graphic.

Not sure about the matchups. But that’s a great way to visualize it.

One last question.
Does Texas really want to play Texas Tech every year?

How much of a rivalry is that?
