Less yards per game, less yards per play, more turnovers per game, less passing yards per game against worse defenses than LSU 2019 offense.

LSU 2019 averaged almost 50 more passing yards a game and over 20 total yards a game. Bama ended up averaging .1 more pts a game. It’s very clear on many levels that LSU offense was better than 2020 Bama.

So we were better, and didn’t play Northwestern State to get there. Thank you for settling that debate.

Next.

If tonight you are sitting there drinking and looking at that recover on the nightstand, call someone.

So what you're saying is we accomplished more with less?

I love LSU, but I mean how often do you have award-winning Top QB, Top RB, Top WR & Heisman winner and let's add the award winning Top Center and Joe Moore award winning OL.

Alabama also played fewer games and had the first string out in many of those games a lot sooner than 2019 LSU did theirs. But keep melting. Your tears are glorious.

More Pts with less yards doesn’t show what you think it does. Having said that, 2019 was a great offensive team. Enjoy them for who they were.

These are averages...do you know how that works? I don’t know about how long starters played...I think you could pull Brennan’s snaps compared to Young’s.

Did you intend on this being such a fail?

How about the metric of yards per play? Also, the metric of points was separated by .1. Almost identical. Total yards was separated by 20 yards.

Probably the two best offenses we have see , but one was better in most metrics and there is really no argument about who played against tougher defenses.

That’s not in anybody’s control, but it’s important if you are going to debate between the two.

I just thought it was important to put some real total offense numbers to the debate of the best units in football over the last 2 seasons. I don’t see how that is a fail. People liking the numbers or not won’t change them.
