A big reason for it is our exorbitant amount of missed tackles.

Yeah. Barron came through the middle completely untouched and whiffed on the Duke QB. Our tackling this year has been pretty bad. We miss Javy and Rolo a lot in that department. They almost never missed tackles or took poor angles.

I do expect Saban to throw some crazy shite at Mallett to try and confuse him and wouldn't be surprised to see him taken down several times on Saturday. I don't know though, Arkansas only allowed 1 sack against Georgia, and they got 4 against USC.

Mullet will come to the locker room at halftime feeling about like Les Miles would feel if he were on jeopordy!

We've been avearge, as far as sacks are concerned, the last two years. The 3-4 just doesn't put up huge numbers in sacks. Where have you been? We expected an improved pass rush this season, but it just hasn't happened yet. Granted, opposing offenses haven't been on the field long, and we haven't faced a true drop back passing team.

Dareus was out for the first two games...maybe be were shorthanded...The good news he'll be up and ready for Arky...as well as his sidekick Donta Hightower...

Looking forward to a great game Saturday. I'm fully expecting Mallet to go off, I just hope our offense can score more. This game might be a shoot out.

2nd in the nation in scoring defense. That's the one I'm concerned about. Also 1st in the SEC in pass efficiency defense.

Duke, SJSU, and a true freshman QB for Penn St

Defense must grow up as the season goes on or we will lose 2-4 games. We have the talent in the front 7, but really lacking in experience. But right now our D is just not that great.

First we should have more but part of the problem is the opposing teams are not standing in the pocket waiting for long pass plays to open up. This means the qbs are getting rid of the ball faster but that doesn't help them move the ball especially in the red zone.

We missed several sacks against Duke where our guys just failed to tackle the qb.

Our defense is not going to be as good as last year that is why the offense has to step it up. Of course our defense was hell on wheels so the 2010 is still very good.

I bet Lsu doesn't put up any better #'s than they did against us.

You are in the same boat as LSU. Good D a power run game and a horrible QB. The difference is our D is better than yalls.
