Funny how talented people who work hard end up being "lucky".

In his defense, he had the hot wife before he was rich

ETA: Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't McCarron the one that Cincinatti was supposed to trade to Cleveland (I think?) but missed the deadline to submit the request or something?

I just remember when it happened that it was the most Cincinatti/Cleveland thing that could've happened

Know a few people who went to high school with AJ in Mobile and they say he's a good dude.

Wonder what his career would have been if Vontaze Burfict didnt commit a dirty hit in the playoffs against the Steelers in 2015. AJ would have led Cincinnati to their first playoff win in 25 years and would have started the next week.

Matt Flynn had a legit shot as a starter but got beat out by rookie Russel Wilson. If he had gone to another team....

Yeah, when he was playing for his 2nd NC at Alabama

Hard to see where that one is going isn’t it

Is it the same chick he hugged after the kick six as he was running back towards the locker room?

Cuz she was pretty hot, not even hating.

Perhaps you don't appreciate the level of talent, effort, and discipline it takes to make it the NFL even as a backup.

An infinitesimally small percentage of football players in the world even get a shot to put on an NFL uniform, and the vast majority of them wash out in under 5 years.

McCarron has been playing for 8 years, more than double the average NFL career legth, and there's a very real chance he will be around for a while longer.

Oh for sure. Got a huge contract. Just think a lot of players are victims of circumstance

People who never play draw a lot of money in it
