Agiye Hall - Coaching Failure

What an absolute coaching failure by Saban in regards to Agiye Hall.
It's just simply inconceivable. In the Spring game Hall stood out to everyone as a complete dog. He looked like he might be the star player on our offense this season. He made some truly incredible catches in that game.
At the time Saban said they were working on putting him in different positions in order to get him the ball more, because he was one of the most explosive guys on the whole team.
That was a YEAR ago.
Then for some reason, Saban decided to put him on 3rd string all season long. No reps whatsoever with the first team offense. Created a huge distraction. I suppose the intent was to destroy this kid's ego.
Mission accomplished. Fast-forward to the title game, and Saban decides to bump him up from third string, and essentially put the national title game on his shoulders. He looked timid, and scared out there. Afraid to mess up. Saban ruined this kid's swag. Crushed his spirit. And then said, "Oh shite. Sorry. We need you to go out there and bring home this championship for us." fricking bullshite.
Even in that title game, he was clearly the best receiver on the field after Williams went down. Bryce Young clearly trusted the guy as well. But he kept dropping balls because Saban destroyed his confidence.
This is 100% on Saban. The entire season, the WR rotation should've been between Metchie, Williams, Hall, and Brooks - with Bolden, Holden, Earle, Baker, etc all playing backup.
Once again Saban's refusal to play the best players ended up biting us in the arse. Hall should've been starting all year long with Metchie and Williams, with Brooks as the #4. In that scenario, Hall and Brooks would've been ready, and there wouldn't have been such a huge dropoff.
Instead, the game ended up relying upon Holden and Bolden - two shitty receivers who have no business being on the field for Alabama.

Meanwhile, people with a brain saw the reasons why he wasn't already starting.

Yep… Saban is a horrible coach. I give him less than a year at Bama after this debacle.
Yikes.
Yikes.

Sounds like he has no chest, should transfer to Coward Station.

I mean, I think he will be really good but I think there were reasons he wasn't a starter or one of the immediate backups who rotated in. He looked like a true freshman the other night. Saban knows what he is doing.

Comparing a Spring Scrimmage Game performance to National Championship Game performance is inappropriate.
UGA had a receiver like that recently- Matt Landers. Practice badass, gameday bust.

Actually the opposite. Even after getting screwed over by Saban, he decided to stick it out.
He tweeted an apology to the fans after the NCG.
He's going to work hard to come back and be a starter in 2022.
The point is, Saban should've let him play all year long. He was our 3rd best receiver.

The reason - Saban's ego.
He "looked like a true freshman" because he was put into a game without ANY first team reps all year, after being on 3rd string all year long. The game was essentially put on his shoulders because he was the only WR on the field who could get separation.
Guys like Agiye Hall are cocky. They have swag. Because they know they're the best. When you destroy their confidence, and make them timid, that's a coaching failure.

That’s a lot of words and effort for an alter.

Because I'm not an alter. I operate on a level that your tiny brain can't conceive of.

6 Championships since Coach Saban has been there tells me He is a better judge of talent than you are. Otherwise you would be the head coach. There is a specific process Saban wants players to follow and when they DON'T, they suffer the consequences. Ask Billingsley. Hall will be better for it going forward because Saban showed him why being mentally ready is just as important as being physically ready. Good receivers don't drop passes if they are mentally ready to play.

Definitely not. Saban is the GOAT
But I SHOULD decide who the starters are. Saban should hire me to choose his starting lineup.

Yeah, you're clearly an alter. You obviously know little about Alabama football under Nick Saban, so you definitely can't be an Alabama fan.
