Aggy Why would Anyone Go There

First off, let me say some of y’all’s comments shows your age.
There was a time when A&M was second grade to many other options.
But when looking at player development and what A&M has available to grow an NFL athlete they really aren’t lacking anywhere.
Their facilities, development coaches, academic support, weight room, locker rooms, coaching facilities and just about everything oriented around the program is best of breed.
It just is. Yes. They need to prove they belong. Yes. They don’t have the winning pedigree.
That’s where they are lacking. They better lose. Because if they ever do start that ball rolling they honestly have everything they need to sustain it.
And no, they have NEVER had their shite together to this level, like ever.
Not ever. I think recruits are starting to buy in. You can talk about gay farmers and such but at the end of the day I don’t think it’s gonna work if they win.
We shall see.

Are there not more A&M graduates running Fortune 500 companies than any other graduates of other institutions?

Dude. There’s football and there is academics.
Do I want to beat Texas? Absolutely.
Do I recognize it’s a game and they are actually a damn good school? Absolutely.
Do I want them to lose at football? Sometimes. I root for them to beat just about anyone other than A&M .
I know this is hard for you. But it’s possible to be an Aggie fan and also a Longhorn fan at the same time at times.
But when they play each other, I will be wearing maroon.
And it should be noted that football and academics are not comparable here. Football is football. Academics are academics.
And I stand by what I said. Both schools are awesome schools.
