Sorry, but Bama and A&M aren't trying to be rivals. A big game to look forward to? Sure. Rivals? Nope. Just not enough in common.
We have well over 110 years of history with LSU so that is getting there, esp because we battle over Houston, East Texas, and Western LA for recruits. That one will get there soon enough.
Also, DeLoss Dodds is bound to die of a heart attack in the arms of his latest 19 year old male lover and when that happens we will likely end up playing the sips again. Lord knows we both still obsess about each other as much as we try not to. Two Flagship schools 90 miles apart with 120 years of history and over 100k students between them as well as almost 900k alumni just can't be ignored.

In their defense no one ever said they won it...just that they went.
And as the conference we'll have to * this one like we did when OSU beat arky then vacated it, if we want to keep that 0'fer for osu vs. sec in bowl games.

No, our greatest accomplishment in the last 30 years was winning 6 Conference Titles in 8 years probably.
The last decade and a half has been pretty lame by our standards. Outside of beating 2 #1 teams and having a Heisman winner it has been the worst period of Aggie football since we let girls go to school.
