Genuinely not a troll thread, I'm just curious what is considered a failure / good year for jimbo with the money you guys are paying him?

Their Chancellor says the expectation is to "win a national championship" because apparently they have the best stadium in the SEC and the best facilities in the SEC. They intend to have the best coach in the SEC because that's the magical missing 3rd ingredient.....obviously! Stadium + facilities + expensive coach = National Championship!
It's really that simple.

Our leadership has contended that Texas A&M needed to lay the groundwork, and that it wouldn’t happen overnight.
But if you don’t believe facilities and coaching are crucial pieces of the puzzle, I’m not sure what to say.

I believe they can be. Let's not forget that you bought a coach that has won a national title at a team that plays in a dump of a stadium that has facilities from the 90s.
