Texas A&M AgriLife Research moves toward commercialization of a new strain of cotton that has the potential to help feed half a billion hungry people across the globe while also doubling the income of cotton farmers

Those cotton farmers have been looking for a way to increase revenue ever since they had to start paying for labor costs.

Yeah, apparantly one of the researchers found a way to genetically remove the toxins from the seeds. Can be made into "cotton seed butter", oils, etc.
