Good S&C coach? Was there a noticeable difference from 2016 to 2017?

Would be a bad hire
Can you elaborate a bit?

No. Not sure if it was his problem or from higher up the coaching chain.

He's basically a highly paid hype man, or at least he was at Georgia. He got hired because Pruitt liked him, but he wasn't particularly qualified. I don't think he even had the licenses/designations that head strength coaches usually have.

Lol from the one game I see of faggy a year they always look to be the smaller, weaker bunch. S&C coach has to have something to do with that.

He’s more vocal and hype man esce than our last guy. We had strong guys before. We have strong guys now. Well have strong guys after.

It's hard to quantify. But, we did seem to have less injuries this year. That could be luck or something to do w/ S&C.

Was at Georgia when Pruitt was here. Terrible S&C guy in a lot of ways. Was a huge weakness for our program.
Hope you guys pay him lots of money and hire him.

Damn, I don’t want a hype man. I want a S&C that doubles as a drill sergeant. Butch actually brought one of those with him, but fired him when a few players complained about him being too tough.

Really? I thought we had more injuries in 2017.

Idk how anyone could gauge his ability given that he has never spent more than 1 year as the head S&C coach before the staff gets canned. He spent 1 year at UGA and 1year at aTm.
I can tell you this much about the guy, he will give everything he has to the program. He was Cochran's understudy at Bama for about 5 years so he learned from the best and worked his way up. He's the type of guy that makes players want to run through brick walls for him. If given a proper opportunity to be the head S&C coach for an extended period, there is no doubt in my mind that he will succeed.

And we see the problem. Dooley brought in a guy that handled the elite forces for one of the branches for his S&C. I'm sure they dont make it easy, and use to guys who can't complain about it "being to hard."
Not surprised jones would side with players though instead of telling them to suck it up. Why that one picture comparing them to the late 90s squad is so telling. The current one had more tits than pecs in it thats for sure.
