Not true.

A&M fans gave me a hard time, told me I was butt hurt and a bunch of other shite when I told them what would happen to their class last year.

A real person in the business would know the details and provide the context for how the A&M deals are structured. It’s out there yet you always leave that part out.

Such a shitty “in the business” poster.
Just passing along the interesting retweet.

Aggies always want to shoot the messenger.

imo, the problem isn’t NIL.. i’m pretty sure players have been getting paid for quite some time..

the problem is the new transfer rule.. players don’t have to sit out a year, and therefore it’s basically free agency for any player who hasn’t already transferred once..

pay up or someone else will..

I think Texas will benefit from it overall.. we will lose some like Worthy it appears.. but we will also bring some good ones in.

Either way, I don’t like the new transfer rules.

I do not speak Illiterate Teen.

What does “got the bag” mean?

Maybe “got paid?”

This does not make you some sort of savant. Anyone with a brain saw it.

When you bring that much talent onto campus, not all of it is going to start … or even get much playing time.

Of course the second tier is going to enter the portal.

**First of all, I’m not surprised this fricking wanna be insider troll found one little crumb to chew on after we beat the breaks off of his pretending arse playoff team.**

However,

There were a couple of players (some in 2022 class) that foolishly decided to quit on their team when the going got tough. Had they stuck it out, they would have been starting at some point during the season. I don’t want to call them out by name (LJ Johnson cough cough), but I know of 2 or 3 that are done as in “NOT welcomed back”. This is essentially your run of the mill “we suck complete arse this year” or “I’m not instantly first string” quitters and transferees. NIL or no NIL, you have quitters and fighters on every team when times get tough.

What sidewalk left out (shockingly) is that a ton of the core group of that 2022 class have been tweeting out how they are family and locked in. How they wanted to beat LSU for the SENIORS, and how they don’t plan on losing to LSU while they are at A&M. This includes Weigman, Walter Nolen, Evan Stewart, Bryce Anderson and more.

If you want to highlight the bad with this season, there is plenty of it. There will be players come and go. However, I am very pleased with the ones that I know are staying. We will ride with the ones we got.

I agree.

Yep, being an Alabama fan, I knew full well what the frick was going to happen, and I knew it was going to be magnified by the money.

I think part of Alabama's struggles are to do with the NIL. Not in terms of it hurting recruiting as some people who apparently don't pay attention to recruiting, but in terms of locker room, drive, staying focused etc. Some can handle it, some can't.

When I was that age, I can tell you right now I would have fallen in the category of "couldn't handle it", but I would have had a huge arse smile on my face while not handling it.

The big issue with NIL moving forward is a lot of these kids are getting much more money at 18 then they have ever had, as in 99% of them. That’s going to take away a ton of motivation as they can now afford a lot of crap they never could, for a year or 2. They may not be pro ballers in the money sense but for being 18 and being poor their whole life they are doing damn well. There’s going to be a ton of kids that just lose motivation for 2-3 years until the finances wear off or they are broke again.

That mindset will definitely be a thing nationwide with NIL deals.

I mean, didn't Ewers do exactly this with Ohio State already? Got the bag and then fricked right back off to Texas

Gonna be interesting to see how schools treat this going forward. As of now it's basically the wild west.

So essentially we’re going to have “Jimmy Sexton” with players and coaches now.

I noticed you seemed to have missed the following tweet, thought you covered all players on your secret favorite team. What gives sidewalk? doesnt fit the narrative?

Donovan Green Twitter

FYI everyone that is going into the portal is not looking for money. Sorry that might seem unimaginable. Change of scenery is great for some. But not me.
