Should Jimbo just take the high road and STFU? Just kick some arse with this kick arse class. Saban looks like a grumpy child who got a toy taken away. Why jump in that pile of crap?

Too late. He's already stuck his hair plugs in the bear trap and made the fool of himself repeatedly.

I loved his aggressive defense of the program, but there does come a time to just let the haters hate and focus on football.

I don't know why he just doesn't own it? He should make it even more known that players can rake in the money at his school, and bring in even more talent. This is our new world.

Addressing the media on this is pointless and I think he should stop. Once was enough. I definitely think agreeing to a sit down interview was a dumb move.

He would be an awful poster here, since he's so sensitive.

I am VERY entertained!
Enjoying this off season. I’ve had so many cringe moments when Ed O was speaking, I’d imagine Aggies feel some of the same things. Jimbo really comes off as a Huckleberry Hillbilly.

This.

I don't blame Jimbo for getting pissed. The better approach is to whip arse and be done with it.

If Saban wants to do us the service of highlighting our success (in any connotation, in this case it's recruiting) in a public tirade/whining session (in this case to boosters trying to get more money), then sure - play off of it and get the most out of it.

In what present world does a competitive feud with Alabama/Saban over current success not bring more attention to a college football program? More media coverage, more exposure, higher expectations and setting ourselves apart - even if Jimbo's response was a little over the top.

I don't think Jimbo's words were as calculated as he seemed to be pretty emotional/heart-on-sleeve in his interview, but we're getting the most bang for a buck in this exchange by not staying silent. In my opinion.

After 4 or 5 days of the “Gnashing of Teeth” on this board… yes…. Let’s just get to playing football

Sure. And it would be nice not to hear any more chirping about mean ole A&M.

Jimbo put Saban on blast to serve notice that slander won’t be tolerated.

Sure, it would be nice if he moved from responding to just focusing on the upcoming season and winning games. Will the attacks and talking about his recruiting methods also stop? If not, is he not entitled to defending his program?

As much as the world loves drama, yes I’d prefer this to all die down and we move on, but the reality is it probably won’t. Especially when you’ve got blowhards like kiffin just waiting in the corner to say something as he likes to try and stir the pot and keep his name in the headlines.

There is a reason suspects are read their Miranda rights when arrested, and why suspects have a 5th amendment right against self-incrimination. Everything they say can and will be used against them in a court of law. In this case, Fisher said way too much and undoubtedly left enough bread crumbs to impeach his credibility once the maroon shite hits the fan — and it will!

Problem with that is that he's 21-12 in the SEC since he's been at 8&4feit.

Lot more talking that azz whipping.
