Auburn fans keep falling for the Gus bullshite after he runs it up against shite teams. His offense doesn't work against good defenses unless he has a good offensive line that can establish the run.

I agree that the AU, D is not elite. Very good, but not elite. But unless you don’t consider the D-Line to be an “aspect” of the defense, you are an idiot. Obviously the AU D-Line is elite.
Those QB’s did well, but 2 of them lost and all 3 would have had it not been for our true freshman QB finally looking like a true freshman for a game.
I’ve said it repeatedly but I’ll say it again. Burrow is, as far I’m as concerned, the best QB in the country. The AU secondary and LB’s in coverage just aren’t good enough to stymie LSU’s passing attack and LSU’s D is good enough to slow AU’s very inconsistent offense. There isn’t much reason on paper to predict an AU win which is why it’s a double digit spread for LSU. So I disagree with the OP on this.

The defensive numbers for both teams look extremely identical. You guys are looking for an edge somewhere but the simple fact is that..... There Are None For Auburn.
