I keep seeing people reference Auburn & A&M’s margin of victory vs Lsu. Idk if it’s because that was A&M’s most recent game or because Lsu fan thinks the world revolves around them and post about it.

Here are the 4 common opponents the 2 teams have faced.

Alabama
Auburn -29
A&M -28
Advantage A&M by 1

Arkansas
Auburn +2 (apparently, I thought Arky won)
A&M +11 (garbage time made it closer)
Advantage A&M by 9

South Carolina
Auburn -8 (lololololol)
A&M +45
Advantage A&M by 53

Lsu
Auburn +37
A&M +13
Advantage Auburn by 23

Total Advantage - A&M by 40

Every game is different.

So far this season, Texas A&M looks better than Auburn.

They’ll play the game.
We will see what happens.

It won’t happen...but if aTm wins by 40, Gus is gone on Sunday. Buyout concerns or not.

We are so banged up right now it's scary. I expect us to find a way to be competitive because were at home, but it could easily get away from us too. Our OL may be the worst in the P5 with all the injuries and A&M is stout on the DL. If we were to somehow pull this game off it would be one of the best games Gus has ever coached.

Transitive property still doesn't work for football.

That said, Gus is 5-3 with 2 games left and 2 of those Ws had some significant help from the refs. He wants 7 wins. Finishing 5-5 or 6-4, knowing it could easily (maybe should) have been 3-7 or 4-6, will likely have his seat burst into flames. aTm can expect the whirly bird on steroids along with the kitchen sink. Plus, it is being played at the VooDoo Mama JuJu's home field at JHS on senior day, so all bets are off in terms of records and past performances.

aTm is playing not to lose, as Jimbo has pressure to finish with 1 loss and stay competitive for a NY6 bowl and or CFP.

I think aTm plays tight, AU plays loose, and they get the luck factor at JHS. If aTm doesn't blow them out, it will be a close game with AU pulling the golden horseshoe out late in the 4th qtr for a win. It can be no other way.

It's 40 total which would be around 10 per game. That sounds more realistic. The line is -7 last I checked.

Correct, but people are trying really hard to make it work with Lsu-A&M & Lsu-Auburn. I just like to share the full picture.

Auburn 23 - Texas A&M 21

Texas A&M leads the whole game, Auburn wins with a FG with 3 seconds on the clock.

It depends which mond shows up

Mond was 32%—-105 yards—-0 tds against the 120th ranked pass defense in the country last week

That can’t happen against auburn

Mond was in contact tracing. Had 3 days practice in the 3 weeks before LSU.

It was cold and wet.

And lsu dbs played well.

This just feels like one of those Jordan-Hare games where A&M has a short FG to win on the last play but a bird flies into the ball while it is in the air, or something equally improbable and ridiculous.
