Basing an entire fan base on a message board?

You could always play them as a "non-conference" game. Noone is preventing you from doing that.

Xavier and Butler did the same exact thing this past year in basketball.

Yeah. Exactly. If y'all would stop that, this would be a non issue. People wouldn't bitch if Tennessee was playing like they did in the 90's

Why is A&M afraid of USC? I can see the other way but I'm confused why the aggies wouldn't want to play the cocks every year

Has more to do with being the new guys and wanting to see 3 new teams from the east each year vs only 2.

I'm very happy that USC is our designated East team as opposed to Mizzou, but having more trips to and visits from UT/UF/UGA etc is more appealing to me than playing them every 7 years.

You said fan base.

And between bama an AU the league has to protect 4 rivalry games.

Not everyone gives a shite about AU/UGA or UT/bama.

It's not even about balance or fairness. The conference is just expanding.

If the conference goes to 16 you can say bye bye to your rivalries.

The one that consistently whines more than any other on here. The one whose coach and ad are openly whining about this issue. Is it unreasonable, given these two truths to extrapolate that to the fan base in general?

LSU and Alabama are the two best teams in the conference right now year in and year out - and they are in the same division.

LSU plays Florida every year. Alabama plays Tennessee. Florida is good, Tennessee is awful with no end in sight.

Advantage: Alabama. Every single year.

Add in the rotating schedule fiasco where Alabama picks up Kentucky and LSU adds the 2 time defending SEC East Champ Georgia in addition to Florida and the disparity is laughable.

I am glad that Miles and Alleva are saying something. Why should they let Alabama run rough shod every year in this? Good for them. Keep it up. They are paid to represent LSU not worry about if they are offending Bama fans who enjoy the stacked deck.

That is ridiculous. The fan base is primarily made up of students and an entire state.

I would doubt that. Sorry but Bama has more pull than any other SEC school. It's what happens when you are the premier program for the entirety of the conference's history.

Yessir, it's almost a shame we'll probably never get to see Clowney and Sutton arse rape JFF ... unless aTm makes it past both Bama and LSU to Atlanta this year.
