Imagine being hired as the OC at A&M just to be Jimbo's fall guy.

He’s 62 years old. He’s retiring. He was never hired to do anything more than get Jimbo’s coffee. He had the same roll for Justin Fuente and Mike Norvell. Far from the “fall guy”, guy.

Jimbo should promote James Coley to OC.

dear Lord

if atm thinks their offense this year was bad, they have no idea what's to come with coley at the helm.

We had a Junior jake fromm at QB, deandre swift at RB, and NFL starters all over the OL and still put out a putridly embarrassing offense.

Can't wait to hear about the "new" A&M offense only for Jimbo to do his thing over and over again

Reminds me of Nutt at Arkansas when he hired Malzahn to get the Springdale 5 and to run a new modern offense, only to bench the QB from Springdale who was undefeated as a starter for Casey Dick and go back to running his offense

A@M may pay their oc a lot of money but I seriously doubt they get a really good oc because everyone knows the ship is about to sink !

A&M OC Officially Out

Jimbos been fired???

A&M offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey will not be a part of Fisher's staff in 2023.

Ahhhh

Fingers crossed it's someone with a dynamic modern playbook.

Soooo Jimbo will no longer carry 20 pages with his “readers” on?

AM winning Saturday only gives Jimbo a boost in confidence that it wasn’t “his offense” that was the problem…it was execution.

This is a scapegoat firing.

Well if you want someone with Texas ties the obvious choice is Briles at Arkansas. He may not want to leave. Evidently his family loves living in Fayetteville.

Oh, no you don't. The obvious choice is an experienced playcaller, Bill O'Brien. He has both college and NFL backgrounds, and is also familiar with the state of Texas.

The OC is irrelevant, there's a 0% chance Jimbo gives up the offense.

No coach of value would want to step foot in that dumpster fire.

Well we tried our best to make their staff look good, too bad we couldn't save this guy's job.

he was never the OC and not sure exactly what he did for five years. He got paid a great salary and not sure he had any real responsibilities. Great job if you can get it.

Oh, no you don't. The obvious choice is an experienced playcaller with the blood line of a stallion, Charlie Weiss Jr. All the genius, none of the fat.

Sorry to say, but A&M's problems are deep and I'm not sure a new OC is going to fix that.

It depends on the talent of the OC and how much power he will have.

A&M wins the SEC next year....NOT! You fools. A&M plays to give a team a bad loss, LSU plays for championships.
