WTF? Really ready to play some new teams. I would think Mizzou would as well. Playing Mizzou still feels like a Big 12 game.

Also bummed about playing USC on a Thursday the last week of August. That will almost certainly be the 1st week of school for my kids so I won't be able to pull off that roadie and all of my Mom's family is in South Carolina. Been looking forward to that trip since we first were looking at moving to the SEC.

I feel for you. That sucks, because A&M will lose again to Mizzou (last year excluded).

Dammit Slive.

No one at either Mizzou or A&M will be thrilled with this. Too many other new teams to play, but instead we get each other again.

Mizzou is doubly fricked since they come back to college station.

Yeah it's sucks, I've never cared for playing them.

I agree with the sentiment Jobu. Too many other teams in the other division that neither school has played yet. Frankly, I have to believe Mizzou has something to do with this though.

All i gotta say is I dont care if we have to play 11 road games with no bye weeks and all 11 of them are Bama... The amount of tears shed by the swamp kittens about having to play in college station on thanksgiving is worth it!

Lobbying for the game in Texas for recruiting? Makes sense but meh.

I don't disagree with you. We still will not have played LSU, Auburn or MSU after next year. A&M and Mizzou have played every year for eons.

Wouldn't surprise me. Limiting exposure in Texas won't be a positive for Missouri recruiting, and I can see Missouri offering to "take one for the team" by playing A&M, once again.

At some point, it's got to stop, or they've got to realign the divisions.

So it TAMU basically going to have 2 fixed SEC teams going forward? It is staring to look that way.

I'm betting that someone from Mizzou is trying to keep that A&M game until Mizzou gets shifted to the west, when they'll still be playing in Texas. Who knows. Just wish they would have switched it up a bit. Although, I'll be excited to see the renovations next year.

A&M is now SC's permanent west opponent.

Ark is now Mizzou's permanent east opponent.

Notice how SC-Ark don't play in 2014 (they used to be permanent opponents).

Mizzou and A&M are playing each other because Mizzou made a deal with Slive to keep the Mizzou/A&M game alive so that we can continue to entice recruits from Texas until we can establish ourselves in the Southeast.

Y'all are stuck with us until that time.

Make no mistake, Mizzou belongs in the west. They better get that fixed sooner rather than later too. Tier cross is Arky now. If the slow play the change, if/when it happens it will piss off 3 other SEC teams. That is assuming we stay at 8 games until the switch.
