Same deal with Tenn just a few years later. They just don’t compare. A&M targeted a top 4 coach and got him the leave his long term program to start over. These “Big 6” programs are going 5+ down the list. Do you honestly think an Ulala coach would turn us down? GTFO.

It's one of the best jobs in the SEC. Resources and rich alumni that dwarf the rest of the SEC. Expectations that aren't as high as they are at LSU, Auburn, UGA, etc....

Of course A&M is a better program just not as accomplished as AU.
Id probably only rate AU better than the MS schools, MIzzou, UK, Vandy and S.Carolina.
Even though I think SC should be better than they are.
