No, it’s one more win per $2.5 million, aka the difference in yearly cost between Sumlin and Jimbo.
Add in a top ten recruiting class every other year and it’s the best money we ever spent.

Jimbo is a good coach. They gave him an Urban/Saban contract though.
He could easily pick up a 4th loss in a more difficult conference/division and turn into an ungodly expensive Sumlin.

Yup without doubt. Look at their track record hiring coaches. They always over pay for mediocrity.

actually, plenty of people do. They don't just pool money together money from 5 guys. All that money people donate each year is used to fund the decisions the AD makes. And it's all relative. If someone is donating $10k a year and that's 5% of their yearly salary, then the AD owes them just as much as the guy donating $100k a year that's also 5% of his salary.
