A&M flailing in their baseball coaching search

According to their fans/board, they think they are about to bust open the piggybank and become the world beaters we all know they deserve to be
I've accumulated a short list based on their posters:
1. Joe Torre
2. Ron Washington
3. Cody Bellinger
4. Bobby Cox
5. Ron Polk
6. Dave van Horn
7. Tony Vitello (UT/LSU/Ark)
8. Jim Schlosenaggle (TCU)
9. Tim Tadlock (TTU)
10. Fold the program, because they'd never get this far down their list with their $$$ and a "national brand" like A&M
For example, they insisted just yesterday, Tim Tadlock was sick of taking recruiting visits from Lubbock and would jump at the chance to recruit Dallas and Houston by running up and down I-45 at a cool 75 MPH. Nevermind he was a TTU alum; who doesn't dream of living on College Station and working for the 12th man!!
Come today, TTU has locked up their man to a lifetime contract. Could aTm fans have been more delusional about the "draw" of their program? I say no.
I'm going on record: they will pull in a no-name and languish in the SEC west cellar forever

To hear their posters say it, their guy was a dead man walking since last season and their AD has had feelers out this whole time
This will be an expert coaching search that will definitely not end in massive disappointment!!

I heard Skip Bergman was basically a done deal. They’ve made a $100MM investment to build an assisted living facility in house so he can live and coach in Blue Bell Park. It’s going to be one of a kind.

Makes a lot of sense. He checks the "must have coached at LSU" box that all Aggy coaching candidates must pass.

Are they going to hire an assistant already on staff who has previously failed as a head coach but has a hell of a binder and says go Aggies a lot?
