Atleast Woodward got you a hell of a coach in basketball as his parting gift. If he wanted to come home he could pushed anyone into that job and walked away. He didn’t. A force in CS. Good luck and look forward to our next chance to play on the field.

Baseballs not bad either. It should be fun. Can’t stop a guy who wants to go home. I’m not the trolling type. My ex wife grew up an Aggie ( born in Bryan at the A&M hospital). Our son likes A&M because of revellie lol. I’m glad the fan bases have more to talk about now instead of cults and bs. On the field and in would of recruiting will burn this fire into fun for years to come.

I made this thread a few weeks back and it seem to anger quite a few people.
Name a better coaching combo in the SEC than Jimbo & Buzz. You can't. Guz & Pearl is the only one close.

I mean, that guy is our money maker. Without him all the shite Longhorns bitch about (our too big stadium the state is on the hook for for example) would have never happened.

Woodward wasn't the primary working on the Buzz deal.
You're right that he could have (if he wanted to) thrown a dog turd onto a stage and say 'here is your new coach'. So I suppose some gratitude is called for in that regard. But again, the Buzz hire was not directly handled by Woodward himself.

Money-maker? His push to become a diploma mill has reduced your (supposed) alma mater's per-student state funding, among other problems.
Congrats on your half-billion dollars in debt, though. Thankfully, "conservative" aggy has somewhat ameliorated that debt with taxes to fund athletics. Bravo, Dick Perry!
