Could we get an update on how the Chavis acquisition is going in college station. What are your expectations for the defense this year?

Someone on the rant found this nugget:

However, they were completely wrong about "3rd and Chavis". His defense has sucked on 1st, 2nd, and sometimes even 4th down, not just 3rd.

Anybody that knows CFB would agree that Anthoney Hines, Tyrel Dodson, and DaShaun White are a very salty group of young LB's that Chavis has recruited to come play for him.

Chavis defenses have always been soft and just benefited from Miles ball control offenses.

You are so lame. You have LSU in your bio. Every time you post it's with big brother LSU in mind.

I think that we have a better coach in Aranda but why on Earth would anyone think this? 2011 LSU defense was out of this world. It was jam packed with talent and made Chavis look good but " soft " was not a word that could describe them.

A voice of reason here. Chavis didn't forget how to coach.

You right he just never learned how to coach in the new age. Didn't forget shite, though maybe he should've.
